☉ Sunday — The Day of the Sun
Sunday is the day set apart. In Akkadian, the Sun was Šamaš, god of justice, truth, and judgment. He saw everything.
In the Germanic languages, the Sun remains: Sunday, Sonntag. In the Romance languages, it became the Lord's Day: dimanche, domingo.
In the Gaian calendar, Sunday is the third of the three Sabbaths. The week ends here. The world rests. On Monday, it begins again.
